Changes to Free Agency and Trade Processes
We’ve made some big updates to free agency and trade transactions, simplifying the processes and giving you more control over managing your team.

Free Agent Signings
- Bids will be processed from highest to lowest salary, and if tied, in random order.
- If you don’t have enough cap space when a bid is processed, it will be cancelled, and noted in your team news.
Transaction System Updates
- Each individual transaction cannot exceed your available cap space.
- You can submit multiple valid bids or transactions, even if the sum of the transactions exceeds your available cap space.
- Players can be involved in multiple pending transactions (e.g., trades, conditional releases) - once one transaction is completed with that player, any others will be cancelled.
- Any time your roster drops below the minimum position requirements, a scrub player will automatically be signed.
New Options for Leagues
- Choose when free agents sign (the same time daily, after X sims, or randomly).
- New option for Unrestricted Free Agents (UFAs), allowing free agents to sign instantly after being in free agency for a set time.
Note: Changes to either of these options will not take effect until the following season.
Miscellaneous Updates
- Moving forward with testing of new Free Agency UI, and hope to have this to all leagues soon.
- Made 'How to Play' link visible from all pages.
- Increased validation for emails at signup.
- Made sure salary overbids are cleared when a player is reassigned to Free Agency.
- Added league transaction notifications for anytime a non-scrub player is reassigned.
- Fixed bug in display of league defensive stats when outs were null.
- Age-based retirements will retire players at the flip.
- Other Miscellaneous bug fixes
