Player Development

Just as in real life when prospects don't always match their scouting reports, not all CSFBL players will reach their full potential in all ratings, while others may exceed them.

How Development Works

There areAs a fewwhole, componentsplayers develop and decline in predictable patterns. Certain skills (like Speed) peak early, while other skills (like Specialty) may take longer to development and decline. develop.

  • EachIndividual ratingplayers hasmay afall peakinto agepredictable andpatterns, aor declinemay agebe -entirely theunpredictable. age at which a player is usually fully developed, and the age at which a player usually declines.
  • Each player has a "peak" modifier, which influences the peak/decline age for all his ratings equally
  • Each player has a "development" and "decline" modifier which affects how quickly (or slowly) he develops and declines.
  • On top of that are the ‘Gods of Randomization’.

Some players willmay peak very early, some much later; some players may decline early, some much later. Some players may never reach their potential, potential

As a result of all this, each player will others may peak quickly.
